Let It Bleed is an album by The Rolling Stones, released in 1969. The album contains some of the band's most critically-acclaimed songs, in particular "Gimme Shelter" and "You Can't Always Get What You Want". The album sold a total of three million copies (1 (http://www.rollingstone.com/features/coverstory/featuregen.asp?pid=2132)).
In 1998 Q magazine readers voted Let It Bleed the 69th greatest album of all time; in 2003 the TV network VH1 placed it at number 24.
In August 2002 this album was reissued in a new remastered and SACD digipak by ABKCO with the rest of their Decca/London catalog, originally released in the 1960s and early 1970s.
