Karl Friedrich Hermann Roesler (December 18, 1834 - December 2, 1894), German scholar of public law from the Universität Rostock (University of Rostock) who worked as a legal adviser in Japan (1878 to 1893). Having become a legal adviser to Ito Hirobumi and other preeminent statesman, he gave advice on constitutional issues during the drafting of Japan's first modern constitution.
