Judiciary Square is located in Northwest, with entrances at 4th and E Street and 5th and F Street. It serves the many courthouses and municipal buildings in the area. Service began on March 27, 1976 and this is the birthplace of the Metro, where ground was first broken. It is also near the nerve center of the system, as Metro headquarters, in the Jackson Graham Building, is nearby.
