The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius
Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius is a 2001 computer-animated movie. It was produced by Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies. It was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Animated Feature, and its plotline concerns Jimmy and friends having a good time at an amusement park and on the town (after seeing that their parents have apparently gone to Florida), and later on having to rescue their parents from egg-shaped aliens voiced by Martin Short and Patrick Stewart. The film was produced using off-the-shelf software, by DNA Productions of Dallas, Texas.
The film grossed around $80m in North America, and was followed by the television series The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius, the following fall on Nickelodeon.
