Inverkeithing

Inverkeithing is a burgh in Fife, Scotland, located on the Firth of Forth. The port town was founded by King David in the eleventh century, and is today bypassed by the M90 motorway.
The Battle of Inverkeithing (20 July 1651) was fought in the area, close to Pitreavie House, during the Third English Civil War.
