Notes
Near its southern terminus, I-29 is multiplexed with I-35 and U.S. Highway 71. On May 17, 2005, MoDOT closed the Paseo Bridge over the Missouri River in Kansas City, Missouri for a six-month rehabilitation project, cutting off the final mile of I-29 from the rest of the route. Drivers on I-29 should use U.S. Highway 169 to reach downtown Kansas City. [1] (http://www.kcrivercrossings.org/)
At its northern terminus, I-29 is multiplexed with U.S. Highway 81.
I-29 and its successor in Manitoba, MB Provincial Route 75 provide a direct route into Winnipeg.
