Ian Buchanan

Ian Buchanan (born June 16 1957) is a Scottish television actor. He was born in Hamilton, Scotland.
He got his big break in America as a character actor in soap operas. He played Duke Lavery on General Hospital from 1986 to 1989. He landed a plum role on the television series Twin Peaks (1990-1991), as well as the role of Peter Lawford in a miniseries chronicling Marilyn Monroe's affair with Robert F. Kennedy. From there, he went back to daytime. He joined the cast of The Bold and the Beautiful as Dr. James Warwick in 1993; he left the show in 1998. After a part in the movie Panic Room (2002), he returned yet again to soaps, playing Joshua Temple on Port Charles (2002-2003).
In 2005, it has announced that Buchanan has been cast in the recurring role of Dr. Gregory Madden on All My Children. His first airdate is May 30.
