Template:Hiero In Egyptian mythology, Iah (Egyptian J’ḥ) was a lunar deity. In Egyptian, the god's name literally means "moon". He is strongly associated with both Thoth and Chons, and rarely shows up as a separate entity. One notable exception is the myth in which Thoth gambles with Iah for a fraction of the moon's light, in order to creat the 5 Epagomenal Days, as related in Plutarch's De Iside et Osiride.
