Hydrobromic Acid is an aqueous solution of hydrogen bromide Its pKa value is −9 making it stronger than hydrochloric acid (but not as strong as Hydroiodic acid) and one of the strongest mineral acids known. (See strong acid.) It is used in the production of various bromide compounds.
