Hans Robert Hiegel (born 6 January 1954 in Kaiserslautern) is an influential German architect.
Life and Work
He Lived in London until 1978. His first work House Agne(1983), still modern, the succeeding projects head towards a classical language. An important publication is Werkheft04, ISBN 3-923222-03-3[1] (http://www.geocities.com/mensarchitecturae/ackn04.htm), or the legendary essay by Thilo Hilpert [2] (http://www.frankfurtlounge.de/architecture4english.htm), a+u, Tokyo. In 1983 spectacular project for Campanile in Frankfurt_am_Main, which turned out to be most influential on the Messeturm_(Frankfurt).
