Halton Hills (2002 population 47,600) is a town in Halton Regional Municipality, west of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is located within the Greater Toronto Area. It has a land area of 284.7 km², a labour force of 24,020, and an average family income of $66,589.
Halton Hills is an amalgamated community, consisting of two urban centres, Georgetown and Acton, surrounded by a rural area.
The current Mayor of Halton Hills is Rick Bonnette. The Town Council consists of three Councillors representing each of the town's 4 wards.
