Caledon (1996 population 39,975; estimated 1999 population 45,527) is a town in the Regional Municipality of Peel in the Greater Toronto Area of Ontario, Canada. In terms of land use, Caledon is somewhat urban, though it is primarily rural in nature. It consists of an amalgamation of a number of urban areas, villages, and hamlets; its major urban centre is Bolton.
Caledon is one of three members of Peel Region. The town is located north of the City of Brampton.
