Great Neck Gardens is an unincorporated area (hamlet) of the Town of North Hempstead, New York located on the Great Neck peninsula of Nassau County, New York. As of the 2000 census, the area had a total population of 1,089. The name Great Neck Gardens, once proposed for an incorporated village, is rarely used as the area has never in fact been incorporated.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 0.4 km² (0.2 mi²). 0.4 km² (0.2 mi²) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water.

As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 1,089 people, 376 households, and 327 families residing in the CDP. The population density is 2,473.3/km² (6,467.8/mi²). The racial makeup of the CDP is 89.35% White, 0.83% African American, 0.00% Native American, 7.44% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.73% from other races, and 1.65% from two or more races. 2.30% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
