Golden Jubilee Stakes

The Golden Jubilee Stakes is a Group 1 United Kingdom flat racing horse race for horses three years old and above run over a distance of 6 furlongs (1,207 m) at Ascot Racecourse during June. Prizemoney totalled £250,000 in 2004.
The race was upgraded to Group 1 status in 2002, prior to which it had been a Group 2 known as 'The Cork and Orrery Stakes'. The new name was given to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II.
