Euribor

Euribor (Euro Interbank Offered Rate) is the benchmark rate at which euro interbank term deposits within the eurozone are offered by one prime bank to another prime bank. It is one of the two benchmarks for the money and capital markets in the euro zone (the other one being Eonia).
Euribor is sponsored by the European Banking Federation (FBE), which represents the interests of 3,000 banks in the 25 Member States of the European Union and in Iceland, Norway and Switzerland and by the Financial Markets Association (ACI). The first Euribor was published on 30 December, 1998.

Euribor was first published on 30 December 1998 for value 4 January 1999.
