Egypt Lake-Leto is an unincorporated census-designated place located in Hillsborough County, Florida. As of the 2000 census, the community had a total population of 32,782.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the community has a total area of 16.0 km² (6.2 mi²). 15.5 km² (6.0 mi²) of it is land and 0.6 km² (0.2 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 3.55% water.
Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 32,782 people, 13,511 households, and 8,106 families residing in the community. The population density is 2,120.1/km² (5,491.7/mi²). There are 14,526 housing units at an average density of 939.5/km² (2,433.4/mi²). The racial makeup of the community is 76.10% White, 7.99% African American, 0.37% Native American, 3.39% Asian, 0.05% Pacific Islander, 8.13% from other races, and 3.98% from two or more races. 45.80% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 13,511 households out of which 28.8% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 40.1% are married couples living together, 14.8% have a female householder with no husband present, and 40.0% are non-families. 30.4% of all households are made up of individuals and 5.5% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.42 and the average family size is 3.06.
In the community the population is spread out with 23.1% under the age of 18, 11.3% from 18 to 24, 34.8% from 25 to 44, 20.6% from 45 to 64, and 10.2% who are 65 years of age or older.
