College Hockey America

College Hockey America is a college athletic conference with teams ranging geographically from Connecticut and Alabama to Colorado. It participates in the NCAA's Division I as a hockey-only conference.
There are eight member schools in all; the men's division has six members, while the women's division has four:
- United States Air Force Academy (men only)
- University of Alabama in Huntsville (men only)
- Bemidji State University (men only; women compete in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association)
- 1-time CHA men's champions
- Mercyhurst College (women only; men compete in Atlantic Hockey)
- 3-time CHA women's champions
- Niagara University
- 2-time CHA men's champions
- Quinnipiac University (women only; men compete in Atlantic Hockey)
- Robert Morris University (men only women start in 2005-06)
- Wayne State University
- 3-time CHA men's champions
Quinnipiac will leave both of its current hockey conferences in July 2005 and join the ECAC Hockey League. Robert Morris will join the women's division for its inaugural season in 2005.
