CIVI or The New VI is a television station owned by CHUM Limited based in Victoria, British Columbia and serving the Vancouver Island area. Having launched on October 4, 2001, it is CHUM's first original station to be part of the NewNet system, and also the newest station in NewNet. CIVI's signal spills into Vancouver, and as a result, the station is mandated by the CRTC to air no more than 10% of the programs shown on CKVU, its sister station in Vancouver.
CIVI will be rebranded as A-Channel effective as of the fall 2005 season.
