Soap bubbles
A bubble may refer to:
- a pocket of air or gas caught within a solid or liquid (see cavitation)
- a spherical liquid film (often of surfactant, occasionally of bubble gum) filled with air or gas, such as a soap bubble
- in economics, a bubble is a situation where speculation causes the price of goods to rise to unsustainable levels, usually followed by a crash.
- a metaphor for isolation (e.g. 'living in a bubble')
- a (normally) transparent dome
- in theater, a light bulb of any type
- a name of a character on the sitcom Trailer Park Boys played by Mike Smith (Bubbles)
- Bubbles is the name of Michael Jackson's pet monkey.
- The name of a character in the American animated series Powerpuff Girls.
