Brian Sutter

Brian Sutter (Born October 7, 1956 in Viking, Alberta, Canada) is a Canadian and current head coach and former forward in the National Hockey League. He was drafted by the St. Louis Blues in the 1976 NHL Entry Draft, Second Round, Twentieth Overall. He played for the St. Louis Blues and was also head coach for the Blues, Boston Bruins, Calgary Flames and Chicago Blackhawks. He has been the head coach of the Blackhawks since May 3, 2001. Sutter was fired as head coach on June 21, 2005. The same day the team hired Dale Tallon as the new general manager.
