Brønnøy is a municipality in the county of Nordland, Norway. It has a varied scenary with numerous islets and mountains and some fertile agricultural areas. In south-west is Torghatten a mountain famous for its hole right through. The administrative and commercial centre is Brønnøysund. A secondary centre is Hommelstø.
