Berthier—Maskinongé is the name of a federal electoral district in Quebec, Canada. Its population is 103,516. (2001)
Geography
The district includes the Regional County Municipalities of D'Autray and Maskinongé along with the former cities of Pointe-du-Lac and Trois-Rivières-Ouest in the City of Trois-Rivières.
History
The district first existed from 1924 to 1952. It was created from Berthier and Maskinongé. The district consisted of the Counties of Berthier and Maskinongé. In 1947, it gained the Township of Gouin. When the district was abolished, it became Berthier—Maskinongé—Delanaudière.

The riding was recreated in 1975 when the name of Berthier was again changed to Berthier-Maskinongé. Liberal Antonio Yanakis was elected its MP in the 1979 Canadian election and re-elected in the 1980 Canadian election after which the name of the district was changed to Berthier—Maskinongé—Lanaudière. In 1984 the seat was won by Progressive Conservative Robert de Cotret who held it until the riding was abolished in 1987. It was divided between Berthier—Montcalm, Champlain, and Saint-Maurice.
The electoral district was created in 2003 44.8% from Trois-Rivières, 36.0% from Berthier—Montcalm, and 19.2% from Saint-Maurice. In 2004 Bloc Québécois MP Guy André was elected in the riding.
