BBC Radio Merseyside

BBC Radio Merseyside is the BBC Local Radio service for the English metropolitan county of Merseyside and north Cheshire. The third BBC local radio station to launch on 22nd November 1967, it broadcasts from its studios in Paradise St, Liverpool on 95.8 (Allerton Park) FM, 1485 (Wallasey) MW and DAB.
The Allerton Park transmitter also sends Radio City on 96.7FM. Both have the same coverage.
From 7pm until 1am each weekday, it shares programming with other BBC local radio shows in the North West, for those areas who can receive North West Today BBC news.
