Arighi Bianchi
|
Arighi Bianchi is an Italian furniture shop based in the town of Macclesfield in Cheshire, England. It was founded in 1854 by Italian immigrants Antonio Arighi and Antonio Bianchi who originated from the village of Casnate on the shores of Lago di Como.
The grade 2 listed building is a local landmark close to Macclesfield Station and adjacent to Tesco and was famously saved from demolition in the year 1973 after a long running and vociferous campaign.
