Alma-Ata Tower

The Alma-Ata Tower in the Kazakh capital Almaty was built between 1975 and 1983. Into the vertical Kragarmkonstruktion established tower 371.5 m are high and are on the mountain Kok Teebe (kasachisch for: greener hill). The tower has two operating projectiles on 146 m and 252 m height over two the elevators is attainable. For public traffic it is however not opened. The tower of the architects Terziev, Savc<eth>enko, Akimov and Ostroumov was built. Since Almaty is particularly earthquake-endangered, the TV tower was designed in such a way that it was to bear earth impacts up to a strength of 10 on the judge scale.
