Alex Borstein is an American actor, writer and comedian.
Borstein is best known for playing Miss Swan on the edgy skit-based show MADtv where she was a cast member and writer. She is now a producer and primary staff writer for the FOX animated sit-com Family Guy, and she is also the voice of that show's "Lois Griffin" character. In Power Rangers Zeo, she provided the voice of Queen Machina, the somewhat sexy queen of the Machine Empire. Borstein also played the role of the principal in The Lizzie McGuire Movie and the best friend of Halle Berry in Catwoman.
She is married to actor Jackson Douglas of Gilmore Girls.
