Air Sahara

Air Sahara is an airline in India, formerly known as Sahara Airlines. It is part of the major Sahara India Pariwar business conglomerate and began operations on 3 December 1993 with two Boeing 737-200. The Boeing fleet increased and the airline also started to operate Canadair CRJ-200 aircraft in February 2003. The concentration was on domestic destinations and on 22 March 2004 it became an international carrier with the start of flights from Chennai to Colombo.

- Air Sahara flies to 24 destinations including: Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Kolkata, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, Colombo, Srinagar, Coimbatore, Ahmedabad, Gorakhpur, Allahabad, Bhubaneshwar, Ranchi, Kochi, Dibrugarh, Guwahati, Varanasi, Patna and Goa
- Helicopter charter services are operated between Delhi and Mumbai
- Delhi-Singapore & Chennai-Kuala Lumpur flights began on May 11, 2005.
- Flights to Seoul Incheon, Katmandu are scheduled for 2006.

- 2 Boeing 737-800
- 3 Boeing 737-400
- 3 Boeing 737-300
- 7 Canadair CRJ-200
- 3 Ecureuil Helicopter
- 1 Dauphin Helicopter
Following approval to begin long-haul services to London, Air Sahara is considering acquiring 3 Airbus A310 aircraft from Singapore Airlines (ref: Airliner World, April 2005)
