Wycombe is an local government district in Buckinghamshire in south central England. It is administered by Wycombe District Council in the town of High Wycombe. It was the centre of chair-making in Britain in the 19th century. Wycombe Wanderers football team, currently division II, made it to the semi-finals of the FA cup in 2001. They were beaten by Liverpool at Villa Park.
