Wright Township is a township in Hillsdale County in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2000 census, the township had a total population of 1,788.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 112.6 km² (43.5 mi²). 112.2 km² (43.3 mi²) of it is land and 0.4 km² (0.2 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 0.35% water.
Demographics
As of the census2 of 2000, there are 1,788 people, 667 households, and 492 families residing in the township. The population density is 15.9/km² (41.3/mi²). There are 776 housing units at an average density of 6.9/km² (17.9/mi²). The racial makeup of the township is 97.76% White, 0.22% African American, 0.67% Native American, 0.06% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.06% from other races, and 1.23% from two or more races. 1.01% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
