zh:世界电子竞技大赛 The World Cyber Games (WCG) is an international cyber game festival runs by International Cyber Marketing.
WCG was set up in 2000, and is held annually. The first festival was held in 2001.
Starting with San Francisco in 2004, the WCG Grand Final will continue to be held in different cities across the globe.
WCG is the largest gaming festival celebrated once a year. It unites gamers from all over the world to allow players to enjoy and respect the gaming environment. Each participating country will conduct preliminary rounds before sending the finest gamers to represent them in this major event.
WCG2005 finals will be held in Singapore in November where 800 players globally will participate in. Unreal Tournament 2004 and Project Gotham Racing 2 were removed to make room for PC Real Time Strategy game "Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War" and "Dead or Alive Ultimate".
