Worden is a census-designated place located in Yellowstone County, Montana. As of the 2000 census, the CDP had a total population of 506. Worden--along with Ballantine, Huntley, and Pompey's Pillar--is part of the Huntley Project, an irrigation district established by the United States Bureau of Reclamation in 1907.
Worden is home to a number of restaurants, bars, stores, churches, and other services. It is also the home of the Huntley Project School system, consisting of an elementary, junior high, and high school. Huntley Project High School's team name is the "Red Devils."

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 5.2 km² (2.0 mi²). 5.2 km² (2.0 mi²) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.
Worden is located along US Highway 312.
Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 506 people, 223 households, and 136 families residing in the CDP. The population density is 98.2/km² (254.1/mi²). There are 239 housing units at an average density of 46.4/km² (120.0/mi²). The racial makeup of the CDP is 96.25% White, 0.59% African American, 0.99% Native American, 0.20% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.40% from other races, and 1.58% from two or more races. 3.56% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 223 households out of which 27.8% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 46.6% are married couples living together, 11.2% have a female householder with no husband present, and 39.0% are non-families. 35.4% of all households are made up of individuals and 17.5% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.27 and the average family size is 2.97.
In the CDP the population is spread out with 25.5% under the age of 18, 8.1% from 18 to 24, 25.7% from 25 to 44, 23.7% from 45 to 64, and 17.0% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 40 years. For every 100 females there are 96.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 89.4 males.
The median income for a household in the CDP is $22,625, and the median income for a family is $38,393. Males have a median income of $22,434 versus $20,156 for females.
