Wood Green tube station is a station on the Piccadilly Line, between Turnpike Lane and Bounds Green stations, and in Travelcard Zone 3. It was opened 19 September 1932, and like all the northern Piccadilly line stations was designed by Charles Holden. To the north of the station is a reversing siding; whilst this is not used in regular service any more, it is a useful asset for when there is late-running.
The National Rail station now called Alexandra Palace was formerly called Wood Green; it was renamed in 1984.
