When in Rome was a dance-rock band that had their only hit with the single "The Promise" in 1988.
The group, composed of Clive Farrington and Andrew Mann on vocals, and Michael Floreale on keyboard, released one self-titled album after the success of their debut single, that didn't sell as well only reaching #84 on the Billboard Top 200 chart, before fading away. The trio were in a band named Leisure, with Corinne Drewery of the group Swing Out Sister, before forming When in Rome.
