Template:Album infobox When Dream and Day Unite (1989) is the first studio album released by Dream Theater, a progressive metal band, on March 6th, 1989. It is the only Dream Theater album to feature Charlie Dominici on vocals.
On March 12, 2002, a 32-bit remaster of the album was released.
On the 15th anniversary of the album, Dream Theater performed the album in its entirety in Los Angeles, California with special guest Charlie Dominici.
