Whalley

Template:GBdot Whalley is a small town in the Ribble Valley on the banks of the River Calder in Lancashire. The town is home to the ruins of a 14th century Cistercian abbey.
The center of the town is dominated by four public houses (Pub's) namely The Dog, The Whalley Arms, The Swan and the DeLacy Arms.
Nightlife continues on Thursday, Friday & Saturday at the local nightclub called 'Rendezvous' - though many still call it Rio's. Where alledgedly your shoes stick to the carpet.
The main road through Whalley is King Street, which leads through to Clitheroe Road. Neighbouring Whalley are the small villages of Billington and Barrow.
