West Livingston is a census-designated place located in Polk County, Texas. As of the 2000 census, the CDP had a total population of 6,612.

West Livingston is located at 30°42'34" North, 95°1'9" West (30.709430, -95.019249)Template:GR.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 62.1 km² (24.0 mi²). 62.0 km² (23.9 mi²) of it is land and 0.1 km² (0.04 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 0.17% water.
Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 6,612 people, 1,494 households, and 1,087 families residing in the CDP. The population density is 106.6/km² (276.2/mi²). There are 2,285 housing units at an average density of 36.9/km² (95.4/mi²). The racial makeup of the CDP is 66.56% White, 29.93% African American, 0.27% Native American, 0.36% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 1.92% from other races, and 0.95% from two or more races. 14.70% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 1,494 households out of which 28.5% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 59.3% are married couples living together, 10.8% have a female householder with no husband present, and 27.2% are non-families. 23.4% of all households are made up of individuals and 10.3% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.49 and the average family size is 2.91.
