WebKit
|
WebKit is an application framework for Mac OS X comprised of two other frameworks: WebCore, an HTML parser and renderer, and JavaScriptCore, a JavaScript engine.
On June 7 2005, Safari developer Dave Hyatt announced on his weblog that Apple were open sourcing WebKit and opening up access to the CVS tree and Bugzilla tool for WebKit. This move coincided with WWDC 2005.
