Geography

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 32.4 km² (12.5 mi²). 28.5 km² (11.0 mi²) of it is land and 3.9 km² (1.5 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 12.08% water.
Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 1,724 people, 722 households, and 475 families residing in the CDP. The population density is 60.6/km² (156.8/mi²).
