Warwick Township is a township located in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. As of the 2000 census, the township had a total population of 11,977.

Geography
According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 28.9 km² (11.1 mi²). 28.9 km² (11.1 mi²) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water.
Demographics
As of the census2 of 2000, there are 11,977 people, 3,933 households, and 3,268 families residing in the township. The population density is 415.1/km² (1,075.3/mi²). There are 4,050 housing units at an average density of 140.4/km² (363.6/mi²). The racial makeup of the township is 95.93% White, 1.04% African American, 0.07% Native American, 2.14% Asian, 0.05% Pacific Islander, 0.13% from other races, and 0.64% from two or more races. 1.03% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 3,933 households out of which 50.4% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 74.3% are married couples living together, 6.5% have a female householder with no husband present, and 16.9% are non-families. 13.1% of all households are made up of individuals and 3.4% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 3.04 and the average family size is 3.38.
In the township the population is spread out with 33.1% under the age of 18, 4.9% from 18 to 24, 36.2% from 25 to 44, 20.1% from 45 to 64, and 5.8% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 34 years. For every 100 females there are 96.6 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 93.0 males.
The median income for a household in the township is $81,711, and the median income for a family is $88,145. Males have a median income of $60,334 versus $36,751 for females. History
Warwick Township, in suburban Philadelphia, is known for being the site where the American flag was first flown. General George Washington made the Moland House his headquarters during the period between August 10 to August 23, 1777, in which the continental army camped in Warwick along what are now Old York Road and Jamison St.
