WUHF is a broadcast television station in Rochester, New York, affiliated with the Fox network. It broadcasts its analog signal on channel 31, its digital signal on 28, and its cable signal on 7. Prior to the 1990s, it primarily used FOX31. Today, it is better known as Fox Rochester. It is owned by the Sinclair Broadcast Group. Its transmitter is located on Pinnacle Hill in Brighton, New York. Unlike several FOX affiliates in that part of New York state, the Rochester FOX affiliate has the ten o'clock newscasts.
Several cable systems served WUHF in out of market areas where FOX wasn't available in the 1990s in parts of Canada, mainly in the east as pay-TV until the early 2000s.
Since 2001, it is served on satellite systems, and it's the only Rochester-based TV station seen in Canada on StarChoice.
