Vineland is an unincorporated town and census-designated place (CDP) located in Mille Lacs County, Minnesota. As of the 2000 census, the CDP had a total population of 607. As with other CDPs, the area and population values are included in aggregate values for its township.
Geography
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 17.2 km² (6.7 mi²). 16.9 km² (6.5 mi²) of it is land and 0.3 km² (0.1 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 1.80% water.
Demographics
As of the census2 of 2000, there are 607 people, 174 households, and 136 families residing in the CDP. The population density is 35.9/km² (92.9/mi²). There are 189 housing units at an average density of 11.2/km² (28.9/mi²). The racial makeup of the CDP is 5.11% White, 0.00% African American, 94.40% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.49% from two or more races. 0.82% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
