Vincent Gallo (born 11 April 1962) is a movie actor and director starring in a number of independent movies. Gallo recently gained some notoriety as the director of The Brown Bunny, which film critic Roger Ebert denounced as "the worst in the history" of the Cannes Film Festival. This led to a feud between the two men which has since been resolved. Gallo claims that the version screened was a "workprint," and a reedited version of the film has since received a more positive reception.
Gallo is also a recognized painter, alternative musician, and breakdancer. He was born in Buffalo, New York.
