Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI) (formerly known as Victoria Jubilee Technological Institute) is an engineering college in Mumbai, India (established 1887).
VJTI is one of the premier institutes in India and attracts top talent. VJTI was ranked 9th best in the country in an “India Today” survey in 1999
VJTI, is a part of University of Mumbai and its degrees are issued by the university, but the institution is no longer under the administrative purview of the university, since being granted autonomy in July, 2004.
