Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 324 people, 127 households, and 100 families residing in the CDP. The population density is 27.3/km² (70.7/mi²). There are 141 housing units at an average density of 11.9/km² (30.8/mi²). The racial makeup of the CDP is 87.96% White, 11.11% African American, 0.93% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.00% from two or more races. 0.62% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 127 households out of which 31.5% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 66.1% are married couples living together, 10.2% have a female householder with no husband present, and 20.5% are non-families. 16.5% of all households are made up of individuals and 9.4% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.55 and the average family size is 2.86.
