User talk:Ppe42

Wikipedia is a very exciting project for me, as a supporter of open-source software such as Linux and OpenOffice and a keen 'net surfer.

I live in New Zealand.

Some pages I've made major changes to:

Finless Porpoise
Wellington, New Zealand
Hummus
Allopatric speciation

Hello Ppe42, welcome to Wikipedia. In case you didn't know, you have a user page as well as this talk page, so you could put the above information there if you wanted to.

Here are some useful links in case you haven't already found them;

If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian!

Hi Ppe42, I am Pcb21 (barely half the man you are :). Just noticed you wrote Finless Porpoise as an anon IP - great stuff - please feel very free to write more porpoise and cetacean articles... I really want to see those red links disappear from that page.... :-) Pete/Pcb21 (talk) 13:09, 9 Dec 2003 (UTC)

Sorry about that copyright mess. Entirely my mistake. Bmills 13:41, 9 Dec 2003 (UTC)

Just read the article on Wellington, New Zealand, which I really enjoyed. Maybe you could break down the j=history into headed sections to produce a table of contents? Bmills 13:54, 9 Dec 2003 (UTC)

Grits. You might want to look at Naked and Petrified as a link, instead of Slashdot. Just a thought. Mark Richards 07:33, 19 Feb 2004 (UTC)

Maori

Greetings, Luke, fellow-Wellingtonian. How's the weather? (I haven't seen the sky since 8am.) Not much of that formerly excellent activity from you in recent weeks (unless it continues anonymously). Maybe a look at the fledgling Maori Wikipedia (http://mi.wikipedia.org/) may inspire something! Kind regards - Robin Patterson 01:16, 11 May 2004 (UTC)

Taps Hot are red.

You are correct; my error; in AU hot taps are on the left and are blue and labelled "H".

I had read somewhere that taps in Spain are labelled the other way around. Need a Spaniard to advise.
