Zigger is my Wikipedia pseudonym. I use other pseudonyms elsewhere, as I currently prefer to remain unidentified, but I am not at all famous. I have studied a wide range of topics, have professional experience in a few different industries, and have holidayed and worked in various countries. I speak some other languages very badly. Likes: laughing, learning, living, loving. Dislikes: deception, dogma, Dogme 95. Disambiguation: Ziggurat, Tigger, Zigzag, Zigadenus, not All your base are belong to us :-) | Missing image Tower_babel.jpg |

If you were puzzled by any of my contributions, let's talk.
Some of the time, you may find me channeling through #wikipedia. Sometimes I even read it. Occasionally I use it. Recommended (2 barnstars) — lots of international chat occasionally, and a good place to find a wikipedia:administrator in a hurry.

Wonders
- One of the many wonders of Wikipedia is that if you find an old page needing major improvement and just make a small contribution such as fixing a spelling error or link, then others see the page on Recent changes or their watchlist and make substantial improvements.
Challenges
- One of the most challenging aspects of Wikipedia, apart from protecting against vandalism, vanity, carelessness, tiredness and stupidity (including mine :-) ), is remembering to establish the back-links to maintain the "wikiness". For example, if you add a biography, the relevant information should be added to:
- birth year, e.g. 1873
- birth month-day, e.g. February 29
- death year
- death month-day
- dates of significant events
- List of people by name
- List of people by occupation
- and if there are multiple famous people with the same name:
- and possibly:
- List of people known: by initials, as The Great, by one name
- See Lists of people for more, and as of June 2004 we now have categories!
- Another challenge for me is remembering to mark minor edits as such -- having the default set off helps me avoid the reverse mistake which would be worse.
