Me
My name is Wouter Lievens. I was born on November 26, 1983, in Lier, a city in Belgium. I am a Computer Science student (last year) at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. I currently live with my parents and brother in Berlaar, Belgium.
Professional Interests
Among my professional interests are Computer Games, Programming Languages and Software Engineering. I'm especially interested in language engineering, particularly reflection and metaprogramming. When studying a programming language's design, I continue to be fascinated at how the design of a language is basically a huge set of constraints and relations where a single change of idea can imply a chain reaction of consequences.

I'm interested in board games and tabletop wargames, my favorites of the moment being El Grande and Pirates of the Spanish Main.

Hobby Projects
I'm currently working on two hobby computer projects. One is the multiplayer online role playing game Tokratan, the other is a geopolitical web-based simulation game called Particracy, where each player runs a political party.
