Hello
Did you come to leave me a message about an article? If so visit User talk:StoneColdCrazy and I may even remember to check it. At the moment, I'm just trying to make sure my Wiki-ing is up to scratch and doesn't interfere with everyone else's hard work.
A Short Bio
I was born Paul Dean on the 12 February 1980, on the same day as my favourite actress, in Surrey, England. Since 2001 I have been a freelance journalist and writer specialising in the field of computer and video games, writing for a variety of magazines, websites and for private clients. Naturally, I am penniless.
I have used the handle Stone Cold Crazy/StoneColdCrazy/SCC since first joining the Internet in 1998. The nickname refers to a song written by the band Queen.
I forget why I came to Wikipedia originally, but I noticed there was no page about John Cazale and I couldn't leave without first doing something about this terrible injustice, and so my first edit was made on 14 July 2004 and I signed up mere moments after. I write for a job and I write to relax so now I have found a new way to flex my factual muscles and will probably continue to do so for some time because my masochistic tendencies have always seen me produce vast bodies of work for absolutely no money at all.
A few of my interests include:
- Movies, new and old (especially Sympathy for Mr Vengeance, Network, Ringu, This Is Spinal Tap and Buffalo '66.
- Philosophy, including Spinoza and Wittgenstein.
- Role-playing games, tabletop or electronic.
- Anne Frank.
- Photography.
- The Internet, its culture, expansion, sociology and... well, all of it.
- Sharks.
- Conspiracy theories.
- History, especially 20th century history.
- Chris Morris.
- Reading and writing, both factual and fiction, though this should be obvious for a Wikipedian.
- Anything unitentionally (or even intentionally) camp, cheesy or tacky.
- Neon Genesis Evangelion.
- Cute sword-wielding girls.
- The paranormal.
- Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Led Zeppelin, Queen and a lot of folk and 'classic' rock music.
- Ancient Egypt.
...And a whole host of other stuff.
(NB: Any edits from the IP 213.78.15.47 are also by myself.)
A random selection of major/significant edits
- I wrote a page on Hexadactyly. I'm not sure why, but I suppose it shows I have my fingers in several pies. Fingers! Ahaha! Sorry.
- Toss bombing was written. I have no idea what inspired me to add this entry.
- Leelee Sobieski had her biography expanded a little, which led to...
- ...Tosia Altman being created.
- Buffalo '66 has been fleshed out, with the addition of technical details.
- John Cazale had no entry whatsoever, which I felt was a significant omission.
- Al Pacino had a proper biography written.
- Insomnia had a brief synopsis written, as well as remake information.
- Network had possibly my favourite ever movie quote added.
