Hey all!
Here is some brief info' on me.
Contents |
Bio (not much, is there?)
My name is Joel. I'm now 18 (nothing is different, dammit!) and I live in the beacon of light that is Liverpool (its like Rome, but with quite a lot of chavs/scallies. I support Liverpool F.C. and John Arne Riise and Sami Hyppia are my favourite players. Liverpool winning the Champions League final is a dream come true. All I can really say is YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH GOD YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! Now to some people, that may sound a bit like Paris Hilton, but meh. So a bit more. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just be glad you weren't with me when Liverpool won :-D
Oh, and this brings me to the question of why some other dreams of mine -- enourmous riches :-D, talent at guitar and so on -- have not come into fruition. If they did i'd be even more elated. I'm currently going to college. I now have a guitar and am failing to learn how to play it, hence my dream of being talented up ^.
Some Intersts
- I love to go out with friends (who doesn't?).
- I love to draw which tends to be mostly of musicians and historical stuff. I tried to draw Brody Dalle but I made her face look quite disturbing (not intentionally).
- Listening to music tends to be something I do alot.
- Which, in the wonderful world of linking, brings me to go gigs, which I love to go to. I desperately wanted to go to Download Festival but I have a distint lack of money right now :-(
- I love making people laugh and I hope I make people laugh without making myself look like an idiot (I fear not, though).
- I like history (mostly British but other countries too). I think I actually got into it because of all these old movies on T.V. that I used to watch when I was a kid.
- I love to play football. I have a dim recollection of once playing an average match. Its unfortunately been downhill ever since. I feel like I should be in Jack and Jill.
- I love going to Anfield alot. One of my best memories of going to see a Liverpool match was the Liverpool vs A.S. Roma match in 2001 when I finally found out just what the Match of the Day presenters get upto when they aren't on T.V.
- One of my new things to do is to contribute to the great Wikipedia.
- I sometimes, though rare these days, frequent the Krazy House, Barfly and Heaven n' Hell (that one sounds kinky but it isn't lol) club-type things. They're rather rad.
Some more (oh no!)
I presume, if you've either read this or skipped through, that you're rather bored right now. I can only apologise that there is a bit more to go!
My cold from a momemt of madness on snowy Christmas Day 2004 (why does snow have to be so enticing? Why?!?!?!) has finally subsided.
What Joel is doing on Wikipedia lately
I'm currently trying to contribute more to Wikipedia. I'm intending to get round to expanding the type of things I contribute to. Perhaps some music-related articles. I like: Emo, Screamo, Rock, Metal, Punk, Indie and so many sub-genres.
I have also very recently taken an interest in the American Revolutionary War (since, about, 9 June 2005. Deep interest, huh?). I'm trying to get a few lists on British forces going (i'm going to try and pretend that doesn't sound geeky).
Take care everyone!
Joel
