Hi, I am Nono from Indonesia. I come from a mountaineous city in East Java, Malang. That's wonderful and peaceful city!! I love to learn many-many languages as well as geography and others, that's why I try to add my knowledge as information for you all.
Besides languages, I also love to learn many scripts around the world. Here they are :
- Javanese (my mother tongue)
- Bahasa Indonesia (my second mother tongue)
- Some Arabic (when I was 9 years)
- English (since 13 years)
- Some Dutch (since 16 years)
- Some German (since 17 years)
- French (moderate since 15 years)
- Spanish (semi-moderate since 15 years)
- Little Portuguese (I know the language since I was 16)
- Bahasa Melayu
- Papiamento (since I was 19, because I was taught by my penpal from Aruba and he was native speaker of Papiamento)
- Little Bengali and Urdu (recently)
- Ambonese Malay and other East Indonesian Malay-based Creoles
About scripts, I am able to read the following:
- Cyrillic
- Arabic (particularly for Arabic, Persian, and Urdu)
- Devanagari, and
- Bangla script
- Javanese script (still poor)
